Requirements
Builder Members need to submit their client information on the spreadsheeted (found in the
online submission portal) for all closings that occurred within the qualifying period. The closing
sheets are forwarded to the third-party service provider who will then conduct the surveys.
Builders are asked to prepare their clients to anticipate receiving a call to conduct the survey and
forward on to them the Survey Awareness documents. Builders must receive a minimum 40%
participation rate from their clients to be eligible for scoring. The highest satisfaction score
from all participating builders who meet the minimum client participation threshold will receive
the Customer Choice Award in their respective builder ember category (small, medium, large,
multi-family). This Award category is only open to builder members who sell homes. Rentals and
rent-to-own properties are not eligible.

50 - Rooftopper Membership Recruitment Champion - No Submission Required
Description
The Rooftopper Membership Recruitment Champion Award recognizes a SRHBA member who has made the most impact in their local association by recruiting new members.
Requirements
- The member has recruited at least two or more new members to SRHBA in any category within the last year.
- The referring member must be in good standing during the time of nomination and the bestowing of the award.
- Newly recruited members must be in good standing (paid).
- SRHBA Staff will track all new membership referrals within the fiscal year (Nov 1 – Oct 31, annually) and select the award winner from eligible members who qualify.
- The winner of this award will be automatically submitted to the CHBA National awards for consideration.
- No submission required, this award is based on successful referrals and compliance with the eligibility criteria.
51 - Ambassador of the Year - No Submission Required
Description
The Ambassador of the Year Award is presented annually to an individual who demonstrates high levels of commitment and measurable difference within the community, to the Association, and the homebuilding industry as a whole. Nominations will be accepted from any member in good standing during the submission period. Current SRHBA or CHBA Board Members and current or past SRHBA staff are not eligible for nomination. Past SRHBA and CHBA Board Members are eligible. Nominees must be employed by or owner(s) of (minimum 25% shareholder) any member company in good standing at the time of submission.
52 - Parade of Homes Top Performer - No Submission Required
Description
The Parade of Homes Top Performer Award recognizes a Certified Professional Home Builder who participated in the current award year Parade of Homes and built innovative show homes as a marketing tool. The winner of this award is determined by the total number of votes received by consumers from the online survey conducted during the Parade of Homes in the current award year.
53 - Professional or Service Member of the Year - No Submission Required
