How To Enter
Be sure to read the rules and regulations and the eligibility requirements in the SUBMISSION GUIDE.
Create your member profile HERE and then log in. (It will prompt you to click the verification link to verify your email.)
After logging in, you will be able to add new submissions and edit them until the closing date.
To add a new submission, log in and click the enter submission link in the menu. (We highly recommend using the word document forms to fill out all of your information and then copying and pasting the answers into Awardify to officially submit.)
Select a category and provide a name for the submission so you can recognize it easily later. This is a name used for your purposes only. Judges will not see this title you provide.
Fill in the form to provide the information required for the category.
You can see all of the submissions you have entered by clicking the view submissions link in the menu. From here you can edit the submissions by clicking on the add/edit photos link and the written submission link.
Include electronic copy of current corporate logo for production (PDF's)
Do not reference your company name in the written submission, and ensure that there are no logos in the photos and floor plans you use.
Submissions will not be judged until you declare the submission final, and all submissions not declared final will be disqualified. Accuracy of submitted materials is the responsibility of the applicant. Information given on the entry form will be used exactly as submitted in the award ceremony through production, presentation, and recognition in the media.

HELPFUL TIPS FOR YOUR SUBMISSION
Here are a few words of advice from the organizers and judges to help you to prepare a winning entry, and just as importantly, to know what pitfalls to avoid.
- Use bullets or point form in the text boxes – easier for you to write and easier for the judges to understand.
- Word counts are the maximum only – don't feel obligated to meet the word count limit with each question, especially if you have answered the question fully and find yourself repeating information. It's much better to be concise in your answers – Judges don't like repetition.
- Answer the question fully. Make sure you are addressing all aspects of the question, or judges will dock you points.
- Have quality photography. Photographs are the only way judges can see your project. Make sure they are well lit and true to real-life colour and scale. For renovation categories, provide "before" photos from the same angle as the after photos.
- Take your time and double-check the entry before you submit it. The submission deadline is November 3rd, 2025 at 11:59pm. You can go back and edit your entry up until the deadline, even if you've already submitted it.
- Have a backup of your work. If you know that you'll be submitting an entry close to the entry date for whatever reason, it is strongly suggested that you prepare your entry in Word, Pages or other format prior to uploading. That way, if you have computer glitches, your work will at least be saved. If you know you'll want to reference your content at a later point, it's also good to have a backup
ONLINE SUBMISSION
The 34th Annual Housing Excellence Awards consist of online submissions; materials must be submitted by November 3rd, 2025 at 11:59pm.
PROMOTION AS AN AWARD OF EXCELLENCE WINNER
- SRHBA Member companies and their affiliates must indicate the Year and the Award Category Title in which they won or were a finalist when advertising/promoting/etc. There are to be NO changes made to the NAME of the Award category
